Energy Saving Projects
Our Energy & Engineering Team has engineers, data scientists, and many stellar interns who work on energy projects across campus.
Together they put their passion for energy efficiency at work to improve our buildings' HVAC systems and get the campus closer to carbon neutrality. Read more about our team on the Facilities website.
Back to mapOur team's funding structure is set up so that the verified energy savings from our projects are re-directed to fund our team's budget. Over time, our goal is to save more in energy costs than what we spend.
We are accomplishing this by building a portfolio of projects that generate savings year after year. The buildings we optimized in 2016 are still consuming less energy today than they were before our project, and are still generating savings today.
